Art Nouveau

My understanding of Art Nouveau is realistic facial and details pattern of flowers or any feminine elements. It shows an elegance and feminine style. 'For the art nouveau, I did my face realistic using digital painting in photoshop. I kind of improvise my face to have make up on to look like the ancient Greek painting portrait look such as putting the eye shadow, contour and the eye that was improvised to emphasis on the art nouveau look. I did vector it out the flowers and leaf in the background to show the elements represent an art nouveau. For the hair, I used curve lines to show the flowy feeling and some gradient on it. Overall the colour palette that I used were earthly tone.

I used Adobe Photoshop to use the brush stroke on the face to make it look realistic. The rest was vectored using Adobe Illustrator to create the pattern and the look of art nouveau.

Constructivism

I went to research on the style and noticed mostly the style of poster commonly consists of black, yellowish and red in colour, building and sun set line elements for the background and the contour and shadow on the face using the typical three colours that was mentioned before. Playing the "sun set lines" at the background to show it can be another way of showing the style despite the shape and the composition was uniquely different from the original.

I used Adobe Illustrator to vector it out.

Cubism

I was inspired by one of the futuristic Picasso-inspired cubism portrait. Mostly made up of geometry and showing the contrast and the segment on the face and neck. As for the hair, I played with dull colour and some light colour.

I used Adobe Illustrator to vector it out.

Pop art

I was inspired by Roy Lichtenstein work. His works are quite old style comic. As for the hair, I pathed the stroke to show the hair flowing to the direction. I did the gradient dot effect on photoshop on the shirt to show the elements of pop art, so is the background making a scene as well with the slogan bubble.

I used Adobe Illustrator to vector it out.
